Clear Float Glass

Clear float glass is manufactured by an advanced float process ensuring the glass has a uniform smoothness and very flat surfaces on both sides of the glass. We stock this product in thicknesses of 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm and 12mm and in sheet sizes up to 3660mm x 2134mm.

Laminated Glass

Laminated glass is a safety glass that is held together by an interlayer of PVB, this ensures that in the event of breakage it does not shatter into large sharp pieces.

This is a safety glass and used where there is a possibility of human impact with the glass or where the glass could fall if shattered. Laminated glass is typically used in skylight glazing and automobile windshields.

This product is available from 6.38mm thickness to 12.38mm and in sheet sizes up to 3660mm x 2440mm.

Double Glazed Units

Double glazing is a type of window where multiple panes of glass are assembled into units. Double glazing has become popular due to its heat retaining properties as well as for being far more secure.

Toughened Glass

Toughened glass is glass that has been strengthened by controlled thermal or chemical treatments. It will usually shatter into small pieces rather than sharp shards when broken, therefore less likely to cause severe injury. The applications toughened glass is used in are passenger vehicle windows, glass doors and tables, diving masks and various types of plates and cookware.
